Two projects by Studio RED Architects received awards in Texas Construction magazine’s “Best of 2010” program.
The Texas Southmost College Cultural Arts Center in Brownsville received an award of excellence in the cultural category for the 54,000 sf new construction project. Read more about the arts center and see it here.
Brennan’s of Houston received an award of excellence in restoration and renovation for the restoration of the restaurant destroyed by a fire during Hurricane Ike in 2008. See it here.
The jury awarded projects based on entry criteria including overcoming challenges & teamwork; safety; innovation & contribution to the industry/community; construction quality and craftsmanship; and function and aesthetic quality of design.
