Studio RED Architects is designing a new church for St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church in Southwest Houston. The unique design in the shape of the Christian “Icthys” fish symbol has two intersecting arcs to resemble the profile of a fish. Awarded through the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, the project is scheduled to begin construction in April of 2011. See more photos of this project.
