SEARCH Homeless Services recently opened its second House of Tiny Treasures (HTT), designed by Studio RED Architects, to better serve the community and continue its mission of providing hope, creating opportunity and transforming lives, while breaking the cycle of homelessness.
HTT is a nationally-accredited childhood education program that provides early education opportunities for toddler and preschool-age children while their parents attend classes and begin working. HTT not only provides children with nutritious meals, education and intensive art, play and speech therapies, it also equips each child with the skills needed to self-regulate, build cognitive skills and problem solve.

According to SEARCH, the addition of the second House of Tiny Treasures allows them to triple the amount of children they serve and increase the impact of its transformative program.
Studio RED Architects and SEARCH previously worked together on the non-profit’s new sustainably-designed 30,000 square foot, two story headquarters in east downtown. The building features a chapel, offices, meeting rooms and support facilities that assists SEARCH’s mission of transitioning clients from homelessness.
