Studio RED recently attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the River Pointe Church Missouri City campus. The firm has a history of partnering with River Pointe Church, and previously designed their Student Center and Children’s Building, located on the Main Campus. Studio RED is committed to supporting River Pointe Church’s mission of growing their community through expanding their infrastructure.
Located in Richmond, Texas, the Missouri City satellite campus of River Pointe Church was using Elkins High School as a temporary gathering location. Continued growth and support of the church members allowed the church to secure a site and development plan for this new second campus. The masterplan includes: worship hall and youth wings; baptismal pool and riverbed; outdoor fellowship plaza and lawn area; as well as a pad-site for future expansion of the youth ministries. From newborn to teenager, the Children and Youth ministries have been designed for “alike” age groups in order to engage the entire family.
The River Pointe Church Main Campus has seen great success with their weekend fellowship gatherings. In order to continue the community-building mission at the Missouri City campus, Studio RED created a concession area with landscaped green space for gathering on weekends. Festoon lighting drapes the main plaza creating an ambient environment to be enjoyed on weekend gatherings all year-round.
