Earlier this year Dallas-based The Howard Hughes Corp opened a new and modern 10,600-square-foot activity center set in the master-planned community of The Woodlands Hills. Studio RED Architects played an integral role in the creation and development of this stunning space, which incorporates amenities that people of all ages can enjoy.
The main recreation center sits in the heart of the 17-acre Founders Park. Inside visitors will find a spacious 5,100-square-foot fitness center loaded with treadmills, spin bikes and strength training machines. Swimmers will be delighted to discover that we included a separate lap swimming pool with dedicated swim lanes alongside a resort-style pool with a pool building and restrooms, a spray garden, a climbing wall and an event lawn.
Other amenities that can be found at The Woodlands Hills Amenities Building include:
- Tennis courts
- Demonstration kitchen
- Office space
There is also a pavilion on-site which overlooks a playground equipped with everything a child would need to push themselves to the physical and imaginary limit.
Recreation Center Built to Suit the Lifestyle of Its Residents
The Woodland Hills community sits between the cities of Conroe and Willis. To reflect the growing population of these two areas, Studio RED Architects incorporated a sophisticated modern aesthetic in all of our designs and plans. It not only makes the space more functional, but it is equally inspirational to those who take advantage of the recreational opportunities available in this expansive space.
