Studio RED was selected to design a chapel addition for St. Martha Catholic Church’s community campus. The chapel seats 230 people in pews, 20 people in loose chairs and 15 people in a choir area. Features include main Altar at Sanctuary, six Prayer Niches for individual prayer inside the chapel, sloped ceiling at Nave painted with a mural representing a celestial sky, vaulted and arched ceilings at Sanctuary, platform above Nave entry doors for the pipe organ, Working Sacristy, Vesting Sacristy, Parlor/Spiritual Direction area, Narthex, restrooms and additional support spaces. The chapel is connected to the existing church by an extension to the formal front colonnade with an exterior covered porch area outside the Narthex.
