HOUSTON’S FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
PROJECT INFORMATION
The sanctuary of Houston’s First Baptist Church, designed in the 1970s, had not been renovated since and had many issues that needed solving. Pete Ed Garrett and Jared Wood identified the biggest problem, which was that not everyone in attendance could see or hear the sermon. The lighting level was so low that bibles and hymnals could not be read.
- Renovation of the first mega church in the country.
- Updated original 1977 design.
- New lighting, seating layout, chairs, IMAG screens, theatrical rigging and cloth ceiling.
- Adjustable lights and Visual Worshipper add emotional impact to services.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL:
“They understand the church of the future and appreciate the church of the past. This ability combined with their willingness to listen and involve us in the process has resulted in a worship center which will last for years to come.”
