New UH-Clear Lake Pearland Campus Building Opens

Pearland-Campus

The new University of Houston-Clear Lake Pearland Campus facility, designed by Studio RED Architects and built by Palmer Construction, has been completed.  The 31,000 square foot multi-purpose building houses classrooms, labs, student services, administrative offices and serves as a satellite campus for UHCL and the new home for the Pearland Economic Development Corporation.

“Not only was the design/build project completed ahead of schedule, but it also serves as an excellent demonstration of the value of true collaboration between client, tenant, contractor, architect and design team” said Trung Doan, Partner-In-Charge from Studio RED.

Dr. William A. Staples, president of University of Houston-Clear Lake, praised the design-build team saying, “For designing and building this wonderful new facility, special thanks to David Palmer of Palmer Construction and Trung Doan and Bill Neuhaus of Studio RED Architects, and their respective staffs for doing an excellent job. They took a special interested in this project and were dedicated to its successful completion.”

This project adds to the list of projects Houston-based Studio RED Architects has designed including Lakewood Church, Houston Baptist University Cultural Arts Center, Fellowship of The Woodlands, Brennan’s Restaurant, and the new City of Houston Permitting Center and Green Resource Center.
