Construction
Construction continues on the new 500-seat Diamond Head Theatre on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. When completed, the building will replace their existing theater and renovate the existing support areas. The project features a full flyloft, added restroom facilities, dedicated administrative office space, expanded box office and concessions, additional rehearsal halls, a new dressing room and green room areas, upgraded scene and costume shops, and additional back of house areas. We can’t wait to see the curtain raise in this building soon!
It was an exciting day at Diamond Head Theatre – the steel trusses (both over the house and proscenium) were flown into place! We love seeing this roof take shape. Thank you for capturing and sharing the footage Diamond Head Theatre.
Site Visit
We enjoyed our site visit to Hawaii to see the progress on Diamond Head Theatre construction. We had the opportunity to explore the island in beautiful weather & found some amazing views!
