Studio RED Architects invited 84 students from Westbury Christian High School to take part in the “Quality of Life/ Livable City” survey for the Center for Houston’s Future. This survey is presented to various Houstonians across the city to gather data about what Houston residents want their city to feel and look like. Question topics include green spaces, safety, transportation and cultural identity.
Studio RED partner, Trung Doan, presented to the students the idea that what the city of Houston does now will affect their generation more than it will the older generations; making their input particularly valuable to the project.
Doan also taught the students about architecture and shared some of Studio RED’s design projects before leading a tour of the firm’s office.
