Studio RED was chosen by Brookfield Properties to design and construct an exciting new community center within Lakeside Landing. This state-of-the-art facility serves as the focal point, offering a range of amenities including swimming and fitness facilities, dedicated spaces for special events, and various recreational activities.

The community center spans 3,200 square feet and is complemented by a luxurious resort-style pool, inviting poolside lounging areas, and a 30-mile trail system. Additionally, Elyson Commons, a 145-acre park, features sports fields, a dog park, outdoor fitness facilities, and a scenic wildflower trail. Alongside their aesthetic appeal, several features within these spaces incorporate environmentally conscious elements, including the utilization of multiple methods to capture and naturally filter rainwater.

Taking inspiration from the Katy Prairie landscape, the community building showcases strong horizontal lines that harmoniously blend with the surroundings. Drawing inspiration from the iconic work of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, this architectural marvel presents a contemporary interpretation of Prairie-style architecture.
