Studio RED and Lake|Flato designed the new Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston (MATCH). The 46,000-sf theater includes multi-tenant exhibition space, rehearsal halls, black box spaces, galleries, office spaces, and a theater that can accommodate up to 350 people. Located at 3400 Main Street in the heart of Midtown, the mission of MATCH is to develop an accessible, centralized hub, bringing together an array of artists across the region’s diverse cultural, economic, and geographic communities.
